Hi there --

'Am fairly new to using Visual Importer tool.
We have a lot of packages running daily on this tool. All of a sudden i noticed today that its taking too long to import 600,000 records into a table.

Usual time is around 20 mins. But it took 70 mins to load the same records into a table. This table gets truncated everyday and then reloaded.

'Am not sure where to check. Can anybody suggest why this is happening all of a sudden.

thanks!
P

DataSource is a .csv file.
Target is a SQL Server 2000 table.

VI version 7.5.9

Actually here is what's happening.

All the Data Import tasks that imports records from .csv files to a table failed today.

I thought it was because of slow importing time, but i was wrong.

I ran the same pkg again, it took a long time to process and returned an error at the end. Looked into the table. Not evena single record made it into the talbe.

Any suggestions here please.

thanks in advance!
