TOPIC: ODBC works MSSQL does not

ODBC works MSSQL does not 7 years, 1 month ago #50

I have an import that will not work with MSSQL. However when I convert it to ODBC it works. I do have other running MSSQL imports.

With MSSQL...
When I do a Data Preview no records are shown as rejected. However, when run the import I get all the records rejected and the following message in the log for each record: "Record:1 Line:1 bcp_sendrow Failed 22001 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]String data, right truncation".

I would prefer to run the import with MSSQL for better performance.

Any suggestions?

It could happen if you try to insert 134,567 value into integer field or into decimail(3,1) field. 567 will be truncated

It is difficult to say what is wrong in your case without seeing your data, template ets. If you can't figure out it yourself please email us the following
