marks OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 1 Karma: 0	Trying to import data from Oracle v10g to MYSQL v4.1.7 using ODBC for both source and target and all records are rejecting with message "Value 'xxxxxxxxx' too long for field XXXX. The source field is varchar2(20) and target field is varchar(100) VImp version is 4.5.4

Hi.

Just loaded your data with out any problems at all.
Two things I've noticed about your template.

1 You've used wrong expression for filter 'DeleteSpaces('[SURNAME]')'
Filter must return boolean value

2 your operation type is 'Add New And Update Old Records',
However no update key was specified.

MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver DSN (03.51.06)
