Evaluating Visual Importer (v4.9.8.14) I just designed a mapping and invoked it manually: worked well.
Then saved.

From Command line invoked: works not;
data source is shown wrong!

When If I opened the .vis file with VI the import source is shown wrong, after confirming same configuration in the options dialogue it works again. But only as long as open.
After save: does not work.

1) I have just created brand new transformation using v4.9.8.14
Saved it into the file
I was able to run it from the command line and and opened it later.
Worked fine for me

2) It can be related to your source or target connection
Unfortunately you did not provide us with enough information so we are not able to investigate it
