In Oracle SQL*Plus you can run a command @<filename>.sql

This will run a SQL script. The SQL editor in the tool doesn’t recognise the @ command. Is there any workaround?

You may create a bat file and use external application within the package

Just curios here... why running a script is not good enough why you need a file?
