Hi.

I've been using Visual Importer for a while now and quite happy with the results.

I have to load multiple files into one table.

Names of files of are not sequntional like
inv01.txt
inv05.txt
inv10.txt
and so on

Is it possible to load these files in one go?
Thanks,
Michaer

Hi.

It is actually very simple.
What you need to do is to specifiy mask
c:\files\inv??.txt

howdy doody,

I am trying to do this within Visual Importer Enterprise, but I cannot get this to work.

In the Template code, I have the follwing - but it doesnt work - can you tell me what the values should be to get the above to happen?

SourceFile=c:\files\
Directory=c:\files\
Filter=
FileUseMask=True
FileMask=c:\files\inv??.txt

Thanks in advance

When you say it does not work are you getting any error messages?

I think backslashes are missing

SourceFile=c:files => SourceFile=c:\\files\\yourfilename.txt

agh sorry left out the slashes

should be:

SourceFile=c:\files
Directory=c:\files
Filter=
FileUseMask=True
FileMask=c:\files\inv??.txt

the error I get is \"Source File:C:\files not found!\"
