1. Can this be Visual Importer be used as a data mapper /converter?
I have prospect who needs to take our output report file (in TSV or XLS or CSV), and convert it to output file in TSV format.

2. Can any embedded or additional logic be added to the conversion?

Thanks,
Marty

Have a look at Advanced ETL processor.
I does everything you described

Watching online demo a a good starting point.

It demonstrates how you can convert text file into different format

Awesome!

If this does what I am hoping, it is something I can recommend to my other customers/prospects as well.

Testimonials

My boss told me to keep looking for a more expensive application, assuming Visual Importer ETL couldn't be very good because the price was just too low.  After testing several imports I convinced him that Visual Importer did everything we want so there was no need to pay for a more expensive solution.
