Hello,

I use the Visual Importer Enterprise in a production environment. (I also tested the following Versions 7.6.0, 7.6.2 and 7.6.3.) In every Version i receive the following error very often, when executing a complete package in the graphical interface. (Executing the package in VI desktop and task scheduler with open grafical interface, i get the same results). When I execute the package with the task scheduler in the background, every package run fine. But this is inacceptable for testing.

The errors i receive are:
- Access violation at address 745DA285 in module \'ODBC32.DLL\'. Read of address 02971B28
- Access violation at address 7C911010 in module \'ntdll.dll\'. Read of address 00000018

This errors occurrences on different machines.

When i enter an new schedule, i must wait one day before it will be execute?? Enter a new task in the scheduler and run it within the next 10 minutes did not work.

Are you having some fixes for this problems?

Best regards
Joerg

Hello.

Most likely you have got ODBC driver which is too old or buggy

We would need more information to reproduce the problem.
Such as

What is your target database?
What is your source database?
Versions of ODBC drivers you using
Versions of source and target databases

Can you email use example of source data
Your repository.
Target table creation script.

Cam you also let us know which package to run.

Best Regards,
Mike

Hello,

thanks for the fast reply.

My target Databases are MS-Access (2003) and MSSQLServer 2005
My source Databases are MS-Access (2003), MS-Excel (2003), Oracle 10g

ODBC-Drivers:
SQL Native Client: 2005.90.3042.00
SQL Server 200.85.1132.00
Oracle 10g 10.02.00.01
Access Driver 4.00.6305.00

Source Data are often from complex sql statements.

I used different database- and driver versions but only with the same result.

I can not send you any data, because all my data are personal.

I can execute every import that i have created without problems, but when i build packages and execute them i often receive the errors. I had never Problems with the import scripts only with the packages. It don't cares, if there are 2 or 30 Import skripts in the package.

I hope you can help me with this information.

Best Regards
Jörg
