Hello,

Hi we are using VI enterprise version 7.5.9: I believe your latest version is 7.7.7.8.
For me to upgrade to this do I just copy the VI executable and replace the older one after backing up? I noticed that some of my daily Jobs are taking a lot longer than normal on the 7.7.7.8 version can I expect any performance improvements with 7.9.16, also are there any issues you aware of with the new version?
Lastly in regards to my jobs taking longer than normal apart from the logs (which are just start and end times) is there anyway I can use VI to troubleshoot what may be causing this delay?

Thanks,
Rahul

I doubt that it will increase the performance.

Most of bugs which were fixed are not related to performance issues.

May be your tables are just getting bigger an bigger?

Is there any chance to connect remotely so we can have a look?

How big is your repository?

Do not forget to back it up before running the update

John

Mike,

Sure that sounds good, what time are you available next week? Maybe you can run me through the upgrade etc. and we can connect remotely to discuss.

Our repository is 28 mbs, would that affect performance?
