Support

About a week ago, I used the “Repository Synchronization” tool in VI. When I did, I noticed that a duplicate connection was created…and I could not delete one of them. This duplicate connection happened to be one being used by this job that kept failing. I was able to delete one of the duplicate connections and program appears to be running OK now. I will keep an eye on it and see what happens. However, you may want to revisit the “Repository Synchronization” program and see why duplicates are being created.

Thanks.

Hello

I am glad to hear that it is working fine now for you

Repository Synchronization wizard is hard to grasp

I guess you already had a connection in your target repository
I think what you did is selected "add new" instead of "Use existing" and mapping it to exiting connection

If you have any suggestions how we can improve our software we always happy to help
John

It was my first time playing with this feature so you probably right.
As to suggestions, let me play with it a little longer and I’ll give you feedback if you like.
Though my first one would be to validate for duplicate connections,
if you find one, give option to override with latest version (assuming you can determine that).

We had two thousands text files in same format. We were able to load them in one click using Visual Importer ETL.
