Good morning,

I know I can add a record number to an output record from GetSystemVariable('RECORDNUMBER') but this appears to be the actual number of the input file.

However, I need to add a sequential number to the output table (SQL).
example: Input - has 1000 records numbers 1-1000
Output is filtered and has 250 records numbered 1-250

I can write a query in SQL of course, but I'd rather do this self contained in VIP if possible.

Is there a function available to accomplish this?
