Each single column can be set to header width by double clicking the separator line. But that's annoying with many columns and if I sort one column my adjustments get lost.
Ain't there a better solution to do settings for all columns in one stroke and then keep them stored?

No it is not, if you have 20 connections to different databases with 2000+ tables and we store settings for every single table in the registry, very soon database browser will be unusable.

can the program autofit the columns???

This one of the obvious solutions unfortunately the third party commercial components we use do not support autofit method.

If it ever become available we will add it
