What are your build in functions for the database browser ?
I am using your latest version with much please, but am unable to use the sql function to_char.
Therefore I am curious which functions are available.

You are connected to sql server and trying to use oracle functions

try cast (filedname as varchar) it should work for ql server

Off course ! My mistake here. All those differences in SQL at different platforms is sometimes confusing.
