ETL and Data Integration tools - Modern ETL software for everyone

Dear all,

Suppose I have a field of VARCHAR(20).

Now I want to check if any of the character is a special character. I have the list in a separate file.
What I want to do is select each character one by one and do a look up in order to determine if the character is a special character.

Is there any way in AETL where I can use the concept of FOR or WHILE loop.
