Hi,

I am creating a package and in it I want to have a ftp object which will directly do the file transfer from our client server. Now the files that I want to import are the ones with the ftps connection protocol. I tried the credentials and am getting a host failed error. Does this tool support ftps protocol at all?

Yes It does support it.
It is a bit tricky to setup you may ask you own system administrator for assistance
