Hello,

I have been a customer of yours and I have two general questions:

1. I have been using Visual Import Pro 7.2.0. I found your newest version is 7.4.8. I could not find your release notes. Therefore I don't know the improvements/bug fixes. Do you have a copy of release note and do I need to upgrade to version 7.4.8?

2. I do daily processing using Visual Import Pro 7.2.0. I have not added/removed anything in configuration or scripts for a while. However I have noticed that the file size of C:\Program Files\DB Software Laboratory\Visual Importer Professional\Repository\VImpRepository.mdb has been growing daily. Is there a reason for this file's size to get bigger and bigger?

Thanks!
Sheldon

1. History
www.dbsoftlab.com/etl-tools/visual-impor...erprise/history.html

when latest version starts it actually connects to the server and checks the version and shows you the history of changes

2. MS access repository is not recommended for production. use SQL Server or Oracle instead
To reduce repository size do the following
clear log
compact and repair the files in ms access
(Shut down visual importer first)
