Hello

We are trying to use the filter feature within VI so that when extracting records for the Source part of our job, it only extracts a certain list of records. We want to write a query that will only extract (as the source) records that are no more than 25 days old. We based this on a datefield (lets call it “DateField”). Our Pseudo code would look something like

Select * from TableXX where TableXX.DateField > (CurrentDate – 25)

We looked at your date functions but can’t seem to get any of them to work the way we want. Do you have any ideas/suggestion on how to accomplish this?

George

Visual Importer ETL  saved us 25-30 hours per month. Much of that comes from being able to build in error checking into the scripting. I've even been able to script corrections that run on the fly triggered by the error checking on incoming order files.
