Good afternoon,
I am in need of some direction. My company currently utilizes a software program to extract sales data out of a text file and import in to either MS Access or MS Excel. The version of this software we are using is not compatible with Windows 7 and we are faced with the considerable expense of updating the licenses of all users when they upgrade to the new OS. Hopefully your company can provide a solution.
It looks like the Data Exchange Wizard most closely replicates the software we are currently using – with one exception. We need the exported file to be in .xlsx, not the listed database formats (Oracle, MS SQL, Etc). The option to have different configurations pre-loaded and distributed to the users is a real plus for us, thereby enabling users with little computer expertise to perform the conversion. Getting past the “Target Configuration” to just export the data to .xlsx would be the key for us.
We hope this is something your company can help us with – if you need further information, please let me know. Thanks!
Joseph
