I can connect to Oracle dbase fine using other programs but always get the "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" error msg. All credentials are correct. Can anyone help? I am a newbie : )

Which software are you using?

can you connect from sql plus?

Version of oracle?
