I try an unpivot with attached EXCEL asnd MAP; this makes aETL hang.

Two problems here

Your target excel file has no extension
eg STD_V.95 but it should be STD_V.95.xlsx

second problem that you set transformation type to "add new/update existing records"

set it to add all records than it will work

(We will correct this inconvenience in the next release)
