When I export from MSSQL to EXCEL, the numbers are exported as "formatted" strings with decimals points although the DB field does not accept this formatting when reimporting the same file back. How can I avoid that?

E..g. DB-Field: Price (type 14.6): 12345 exports to 12.345 .

If logged in in another language, the decimal separator may also be the predefined character, e.g. a commna, depending on some local setting.

Thank you

Hi,
I tried the new patch as suggested, no effect. Error remains the same.

I attach four screenshots that shows the definition (once from SQL Manager and once from ATL).

Pix 1. DDIC definition as shown by SQL Manager
Pix 2. Data as shown in SQL Manager
Pix 3. DDIC Definition as shown by advETL
Pix 4. Data as shown by advETL (READER)

Mind, that the data of field "MWST" is scaled by "1000" (comma shifted to the right); What irritates additionally is, that the scale in DB is defined as 6 not as three (Unicode-problem?); but yoiur dispalys shifts decimal point by three instead of six then.

Please also mind, that decimal separator is a comma since I have a German language profile installed.

Regards
