The physical file properties of a file/extract (txt format for example) are not something that I am currently able to capture from inside the tool?

Can you clarify what do you mean by physical file properties?

Is it related to Ftp or Data reader?

Ah, I was thinking FTP but I suppose it could be in directory on the local machine. For example though, there is a file on the FTP. I need to know the physical attributes of this file.

This would include;
1. Name
2. File Size
3. Date Created

Ultimately what I am trying to do is produce a report of all files that exist on the FTP along with the previously mentioned attributes for each file.

Does that make sense? I could explain further if necessary. I looked through the PDF that was included but did not see anything related to this in the documentation.

You can do it already

FTP Directory List will create a file in following format. it is already got all the information you need.
All you have to do is to load it into the database and write a report
