Dear Sirs,

I'm just doing first run to advanced ETL looking at the tutorial while executing the actual program.

When the application starts shows a windows message of:
" Error Source file: C:\Program Files\DB Software Laboratory\Demo\Text Files\Customer_Sales.csv not found! "

It seems that the program tries to open this file on a hardcoded path instead of building it with the environment parameter %ProgramFiles%

The "problem" happens on a win-xp-sp3 SPANISH!! where the actual demo path is:

C:\Archivos de programa\DB Software Laboratory\Demo\Text Files

Thanks a lot for let me to try free your program for personal learning.

I like a lot your ETL tool, specially when I compare it with old times when ETL might be done in mainframes building large batch chains of COBOL programs plenty of hardcoded exceptios.

Alex

Nothing is hard coded

The path is stored within the transformation file.

Just open the ats file point it to the different file and save it

Testimonials

My boss told me to keep looking for a more expensive application, assuming Visual Importer ETL couldn't be very good because the price was just too low.  After testing several imports I convinced him that Visual Importer did everything we want so there was no need to pay for a more expensive solution.
