Hello

I am putting together a project to download an Excel file from an FTP site and then upload it to an Oracle table.

I am having no problems with the package, but when I create a transformation, there are a few different things that seem to be going wrong.

When I initially create the transformation, there are no problems, I can create a reader and link it in to the correct Excel file, create a Writer and link in direct to conventional path loading to the Oracle table I want, and I can create a transformer and map the reader fields to the writer fields. I click on OK in the transformer to make sure the mapping is saved. I can then get to the properties and these are all correct.

However, if I close the whole transformation and open it again, the transformer has disappeared.

If I save the whole transformation when it is correct, and then try to open it again, I get an Access violation.

Is there anything obvious I should try, or do you want the ats file of the transformation, or the repository?

Kind regards,
Andrew
