ETL and Data Integration tools - Modern ETL software for everyone

I curently have Visual Importer Ent 7.7.7.6 installed and am looking to be able to add functionality to work with xml files both import and export. It looks like Advanced ETL Processer Ent will do what I want. Does Advanved ETL Processer Ent support all of the features and functions of Visual Importer Ent or are they standalone products? If supports how painful is migration?

Advanved ETL Processer Ent support all of the features and functions of Visual Importer Ent and much more.

However these are completely different products and there is no automated migration at the moment.

(You can Run them in parallel and create some transformations an packages yourself)
