Hello,

I am currently shopping for a tool that will do the following:

Import 30+ different files into one standard database table. The files have the same type of data, but in different fields and varying formats (strings/integers/etc). I would like this to either be ran by an end-user once mappings are setup, or automated once mappings are setup.

Is Advanced ETL a tool that could provide this type of functionality?

I appreciate your response, Mike. I’ve spent some time this afternoon reviewing your demonstrations and this definitely looks like the correct path. I’ve watched some “multiple file” tutorials and attempted to import on my own using the download from your website. My main question is still the following, which I haven’t seen proven or disproven…

Let’s say I have 10 different files in each in their own folder. All files have the same data, but in different places and different field names. After mapping, I need a one-touch solution to scan those folders and bring in all those different files based upon the mappings created. Can the software do this and combine them all into one standard output table?

1. For every file type you create separate folder.
2. Than for every file type you create separate mapping
3. You combine all mappings into one package and run it with one click
4. or schedule for execution if necessary

(Make sure that you are using professional or enterprise version)
