Hello,
I have a problem

I need an ETL transformation to write the extract into a file on a drive which is a mapped network resource on some fileserver or so. The user sees it as drive X:\ for example.
I am using agent for the execution
I have a theory what could be the problem here:
Taskmanager lists the AETLAgent under username SYSTEM, so maybe the system user doesn't have the drive mapped?
I already tried to start AETLAgent Service as my account/user, but it doesn't start for some reason
What can I do?

I had the same problem in Windows and it was because by default agent is using system account
The is to change the service to run using an account that had both local admin rights and write access to the network path.
If you do use another account prefix it with the domain ie mydomain\myuser and remember to restart the service for the change to take effect.

also use \\server\folder\file_name.txt instead of mapped drive

Hope this helps.
