Hello

I have a really simple task but I can't figure out how to do it.
I want to select max(id) from products before I add new rows so I know where to start my data transformation sequence number. Then I want to use that result to create a sequence which starts from the result + 1.
I can't seem to find a function to for it.
I am sure I am missing something obvious here but can't seem to figure it out.
Is it possible at all.

Help me before I go bananas,
Banana.

Using Advanced ETL Processor STD version 3.2.3.5
OS win 7
Database Oracle
I do not think that you need any data or table creation script:silly:

You need a professional of enterprise version of Advanced ETL Processor

They can pas variables between objects

There is actually a demo of how you can achieve it

Testimonials

Advanced ETL Processor's ability to validate and tranform data without actually loading it into the datawarehouse has saved us a lot of time. We were able to see how data will look like, once it is transformed and which records would fail during data validation.
