ETL and Data Integration tools - Modern ETL software for everyone

Hi,

I am evaluating 'Advanced ETL Processor' tool to find out how we can leverage it validating features for our testing practice to automate ETL validation checks. In this context, i am keen to understand how multiple data sets can be compared for record count and field values and differences are captured.

Ii is all depends on what you want to achieve

For validation and comparison use "InList" function
If you want to merge data use lookup
If you want to add new and update old data use data writer transformation

to check number of records use packages+sql data check (Pro and Ent versions)
