Hi

I have been running a remote session to the German system and when I went to start the ETL Processor it gave an LP5 error

I ran the ETL systems all day Saturday for about 6 hours – setting up the packages, making changes

During that time we ran and number of runs with out any error or problems.

It seems that something happens overnight –

I have uninstalled all the software – agent and main system re-installed the software, restored the Repository that we were using on Saturday and system seem fine at present.

I have sent you a copy of the current repository from our system.

Is there anything else I can get from the system that would assist?

The software version is 4.2.2.5 – this was re-installed about 15 minutes ago – downloaded on Saturday.

Installing uninstaling will not help.
It is anti-virus which is causing the problem. Every time you install a new version you have to add it to the white list.

Do you mean the white list of the specific anti-virus program at the site or does it have to be sent to Kaspersky?

I have never had to do that with nay software I have deployed - however it have been pretty standard software

On the server.
No need to send anything to kaspersky.

We use kaspetsky here. Every time we compile the software it scans it for viruses. That slows down everything. So what we did we excluded certain directories from scanning. That did help. You should be able to do it as well.
Our version is the most recent one we do not get lp5 errors.

They have just emailed that they are changing over to Trend Micro
anti-virus for their server. This will be completed this week. Is Trend
AV any less aggressive or do you need to do the same thing with it?
