TOPIC: Invalid floating point operation error

Invalid floating point operation error 1 year, 2 months ago #1723

We are using Advanced ETL Processor Professional version 4.2.4.3

Operating System is Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Database Version is Oracle 11g

Description of problem:
Package is downloading multiple distributor files. In some cases, there may be an empty file amongst the downloaded files. When the transformation encounters an empty file, the transformation fails and provides the following error message:
Error 2/21/2011 1:30:55 AM Execution of Transformation has failed
Error 2/21/2011 1:30:55 AM Invalid floating point operation

When I delete the empty file(s) and run the package again, the process runs successfully.

This scenario did not cause a problem with the previous version of Advanced ETL Processor Professional 4.2.2.4 we were using.

Please advise.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

Yes, I am utilizing the FTP operator to download distributor files.
