Hi,
We've loaded a demo of Visual Importer Standard

We're direct loading into SQL Server from Oracle. This looks OK. After this has been set up is there any way of scheduling (via DTS or any other way) a series of loads to happen automatically (i.e. after we set up the loads , is there a hands-off way of running it)

Thanks
Warren

You can run data transfer from the command line.
VImp.exe script.vis

or you can use Visual Importer Enterprise which has got integrated scheduler + plus it gives you more options than DTS

We soon realised that Visual Importer ETL was designed by people who use it everyday.
