* Version Number = Advanced ETL Processor Ent. 4.2.3.5

* Repository type = MS Access 2007

* Database type you are working with. = .MDB

* OS = Windows 7

After Renaming the field names for the output properties of the columns I run the tool and it outputs the default values for the column headers.

The field names in the ETL Transformation Editors revert back to default.

After Output it disconnects some of the transformations from the output objects.

I reviewed the second output through the transformation editor screen before running the tool after renaming output fields and closing transformation editor screen the field names are already defaulting before I even run the tool

I guess you are trying to rename outputs within the transformation connected to data writer.
in this case output names are take from data writer

click on data writer
click on the tab
Click show definition
Rename fields there
Open transformer and check the mapping
