Dear Supporter

On my project, I need to import data in format text file that use fix width
for each column. Now my team solution is use function substring for this.
And next we thinking of using Lookup for set dynamic column width.
The question is :
Is it posible for using Lookup to keep start index and end index? and how?
Do you have any others solution for this case?

Thanks in forward.

Just set source file to delimited.

Than use mouse to adjust column width.

Much simpler + you can see the actual data

Our prior imports were done using VB. Our VB expert retired. No one in my group knows VB. So Visual Importer was the answer to the lack of VB skills problem my group experienced.
