I have a new project which is similar to a previous project. to save time, what I did was rename the old project to the name of the new project, backup the respository, rename the old project to the previous name, and then restore the old project (with the new name) back into the repository. This should create a copy of the project with the new name, and, it looks to work.

However.....

This seems to break the transformation of the original project if you open the transformation of the old or new project. Even if you re- restore the old project from the backup, it still breaks while running the package.

It also seems that since I have done this, even after restoring the entire old project, if I open the transformation of the old project, it stops working during the package.

Here is a copy of the log file:

Here is the issue from the transformation log, however, I haven't touched the transformation for that project and don't understand how it could change

Error 10/14/2010 6:16:13 AM Transformer: Execution Aborted: Table's Structure Has Changed (The Number of fields is different)

Open transformation and check data writer properties
Than open last transformation before data writer and click OK
