i test ATE version 5.0.0.8

If i define a new linked report, i get a duplikate key error.
I think the wrong ID_TYPE of the ID_GENEARTOR table is used.

For a new linked report the field CONNECTION_ID in table OBJECTS is not set to CONNECTION_ID of the associated item. Therefore no connection is done and the report dosn´t work (is empty).

At program start the last menu folder opens and its entries
are shown in the outlook bar. It should be the first one defined by ITEM_POSITION_NUMBER.

In Version 4 the display of the outlook bar was better. Here you not only had to raise the window to select something.
The selection of the items on the right side could help to improve the selection of the outlook bar.

The display of the filter values ​​should not be deleted after "Refresh", "Reset Grid Settings" and "Load all records".
because the user will no longer recognize where and where not filter was placed after these functions.

It would be helpful to be able to use name for the repository as a start-up parameter (such as USER and PASSWORD).

I assume that you are using repository converted by support

You have to sort out this problem first

increase value of ID field for ID_TYPE=1 until it works

Works fine for me you have to sort out problem 1 first

Nothing wrong with that.
For Administrator it opens Administrator menu for users it opens the one specific to the user (see attached picture)

No much we can do about it it depends on third party software we use

thank you for your answers.

To P1:
I've set the parameters available to the highest value.
Now it works.

To P2:
If i user the report wizard and set a connection there, i get no errors. If i define a report without using the report wizard, the connection definition dosn´t work.

To P3:

The user menu has several main groups. These groups
are sorted A = 1, B = 2, C = 3. If a user, who assigned to this menu, starts the program, not the first main group A - but the last C - opened (see file P3.doc)
